The 'Himalayan Trek' is an integral part of Foundation Course in LBSNAA. That year 'Group 9' went to the Harsil Valley of Uttarakhand. I was part of this amazing group which never ceased to party and never drained out of energy- be it for trekking or dancing. And to reenergise/ refuel we had, among other things, maggi at our disposal. So ubiquitous and universal it has become in this part of world that vacation is incomplete from Indian Ocean to Himalayas without maggi. This man in his late 70s had set up a make-shift maggi stall upon our arrival. He braved the dipping temperatures to keep his stove lit and make ends meet. We on the other hand, did more than to just survive the Nature's test for 3 days. Living without cellular network, away from any mode of transportation, and only freezing river water to sustain us, warm maggi and hot tea did enough to cherish these days with a smile.
