"Hao Dharmete Dheer, Hao Karomete Bir; Hao Unnato Shir—Naahi Bhay. Bhuli Bhedabhed Gyan, Hao Sabe Aaguaan; Sathe Aache Bhagwan—Habe Jai; Raho Dharam Mein Dheer, Raho Karam Mein Bir Rakho Unnat Shir—Daro Na..." While singing this lyrics of official LBSNAA anthem on 7th December 2021 at Polo ground I was experiencing something unprecedented. It was for that brief moment I couldn't separate reality from dream. This emotional storm and feeling of strange adrenaline rush wasn't there on 24th September 2021 when the final results were out. Neither did I experience it on the day of my UPSC-CSE interview on 16th August 2021. This was strange because the anthem was my constant source of motivation during my preparation days. And now when I was actually a part of setting that had inspired me for years, I could hardly believe. When the 480-odd officer trainees of 96th Foundation Course were committing to 'overcome fears' and 'holding their heads high' the mighty Himalayas in the distance were taking note of their conviction. The cool breeze of wintery Mussoorie just elevated the experience of such gathering. In hindsight I feel that when you struggle to explain the feeling of living what you've long dreamed of, magic manifests in the form of such goosebumps.
